About me

I have 30+ years of experience in the field of social work and have become a life-long advocate for at-risk youth.  In 2019, I co-founded a Life Group that was created to assist teen males experiencing life challenges which impacted their academic success. Throughout my career, I realized that I have a heart and deep connection for teens facing mental health challenges.  I have worked extensively with teens and adults who have experienced, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction.  Some of my most rewarding experiences have been helping individuals seek or redefine meaningful career choices.  I believe in using an integrative approach which is grounded in the belief that all people have strengths/talents that may need to be rediscovered. 

My expertise is in providing mental health care to people from all cultural backgrounds and walks of life.  I am a firm believer in mental health access for ALL!  For those who are interested, I can integrate Christian principles with traditional therapy.
